A CY.TALK® line without a Phone number can make calls all over the world, and receive calls only from other CY.TALK® members. Having a Phone Number gives you a new ability: you can now receive calls from any telephone network (mobile, land line, satellite…). It adds value not only to you but to your partners, family or just about any parties that call you. A simple example: you are a company based in France and you send a salesmen to China. The French office can subscribe to a Chinese Phone Number allowing your salesmen to call you on this number at the cost of a local Chinese call, thus minimizing company expenses on international calls;

• You will never miss a call: just add rules in the Call Forwarding to have the calls sent where you want;

Categories: Phone numbers are divided into four categories. They represent how ‘nice’ and easily recognizable each number is. The more noble the material the ‘nicer’ is the number. Choosing an easily recognizable number for your organization or yourself is a marketing tool. It ease communication, by making you more visible, enhancing your image and gives confidence to your customers.

• Standard: just a simple number
• Silver: a couple or three digits are the same or in a short sequence
• Gold: a nice sequence or many digits are the same, very easy to remember

Subscription periods: The subscription period will determine the length of you subscription as well as your discount, the longer the subscription time is the more discount you will receive. For any subscription period you choose you will always be billed one month at a time.

One other use of the CY.TALK® to land line gateway is to save when calling from your mobile.

Once the gateway is plugged to Internet and to your land line it is ready for use (and abuse!). When ever you will call your gateway a prompt will ask you for a password, once inserted you will hear a dial tone and will be able to call anywhere in the world using CY.TALK® rates.

Scenario:

Imagine you want to call Australia and you are in the street. If you use your mobile it will cost a fortune.
Instead you will call your gateway which will give you the possibility to call to Australia through CY.TALK® at 2EUR per hour + the cost of local mobile to land line call thus saving a lot.

Free voicemail to email
Usually when you receive a voice message you have to dial in to your provider to hear it, most of the times the call is not free. CY.TALK® has a different approach: each time someone leaves you a voice mail we will email to you a small file containing the audio message, all you have to do to listen to it is to open it! You can now save them and organize them the way you want. Your messages will be also stored on CY.TALK®  website for a period of time so you download them or listen to them again from there. You can access your voicemail from your CY.TALK® phone or any other traditional phone by calling the voice mail access numbers available from many countries.

Every time someone will call you on your French mobile it will be forwarded to your French virtual number which in turn will be forwarded to your Australian number.

All this happens extremely fast, and it is completely transparent to the person calling you.

A few tips for when your CY.TALK® Gateway is enabled to be used form your mobile.

• Call your land line number
• Depending on your setting: either it will ring a few times either you will hear the double beep asking for your password
• Type your password followed by #
• Type the number you want to call in this format: 00+country code+city code+ number. Ex:004122XXXX then press #
• The call will be established and you can talk.

If you wan to make a new call to free the line and get a new dial tone press **1 then you can dial your number as above

To end the call and free the gateway type **#.
